Piotr Pałys, The Sorb's Relations with Silesia. Introductory outline of the issue.

The first part of the article contains a review of national and administrative relations of Silesia and Lusatia from the beginning of the early middle-ages. The second part is a short outline of the contacts between the Poles living in Silesia and the Sorbs. Their close cooperation started in 1920' when the Poles, who stayed within the German administrative boundaries after the division of Upper Silesia, took up a joint action together with other minorities. After The World War II Katowice, Opole and Wrocław became important centers of Pro-Sorbian movement in Poland. This tradition is still being nurtured today.
